Sailing to Saint Kitts was challenging, strong southerly wind and waves. Not fun. Wished there was an airport nearby. Also did not lock the fridge, rookie’s mistake! All its contents spread all over. We had to literally lick yogurts, pasta sauce, guacamole and other goodies from the walls and floors. Not tasty and surely will not happen again!!

Leaving the Saintes was hard, not only because the view was gorgeous but because the anchor was stuck and the windlass (המתקן שמאפשר להטיל או להרים את העוגן) flew out of its place.. Pretty hard heavy weight lifting and neighboring boat Shamel adventures’ help, the anchor and the full length chain were pulled out.

Dominica was a 2 night’s stop to repair the windlass and engine belt replacement. Poor island still not recovered from 2017 hurricanes.
